Review: Revlon Colorstay Stay Natural Makeup

I am in the search for the best foundation for me and my skin tone, tried on a couple foundations, from tinted moisturisers to BB creams, and nothing has done its job so far. I was hoping this one works. So far so good! I am satisfied. Made me fall in love with Revlon products even more!
I was lucky enough that revlon in one of the chemists here was on sale - 60% off on all products, and so i got this foundation - REVLON COLORSTAY STAY NATURAL MAKEUP (06 Medium Beige), that was originally $40AUD to $16AUD.

It claims:
16 hours of beautiful, natural-looking skin
Stays fresh, lightweight and comfortable all day
Wont fade or rub off (with normal activity)

This is it on my skin: Yes, its natural looking. Like i've never put on anything on my wrist/arm.
So this is what i have to say about this product:

PROS:
Provides medium to full coverage (semi-matte finish)
Lightweight and easily buffs into skin
Long lasting without fading
Comes off dry, not to dewy on the skin
Has an SPF of 15

CONS:
Quite difficult to remove (have to use a makeup remover)
Have to use moisturiser before applying it on my face so as it won't come out cake-y.
Otherwise, its A-OKAY! :)

I reckon its the go to foundation for fall and winter.

Have you tried this?
What are your thoughts?

Mother's Day

A celebration that honors mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.
A day wherein you show your appreciation to mothers for all the handwork and unconditional love they have given.
I am proud to be a mum and to have a mum who has sacrificed all her life for the love of the children.
Thank you to all mothers in the world. Life would be different, boring and bare without you...

Now with the FOOD...

With everything that has been going on with my life lately... So much has changed, so many things had happened.
Ive come to believe that in this world, this very harsh world, we just have to suck things up, fight and move on.
Things happen for a reason, and for whatever that reason may be, 100 percent, things will turn out a lot better!

So smile... Life is too short to stress out! Don't waste it. Look up and say, "Thank you"

Thank you, Ami for this! :)

And here's the look of the day...

Quarterly Loves

OMG. I cannot believe April already ended.
Time nowadays goes by really quick. Pffbt!

Anyway, i want to share my favourite make ups - that i have been using at least, since early this year.
(January all throughout April)

My QUARTERLY FAVOURITES :)

Here goes...

ON MY FACE:

1. Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Towelletes - removes dirt, oil and make - up without rinsing. I love this, i have used so many facial wipes and nothing works, except this. I got this as a freebie when I spent over $24.99 on Burt Bee's products at Priceline. I usually use this when i'm too lazy to wash my face!

2. St. Ives Fresh Skin Make - Up Remover & Facial Cleanser - gently removes make -up and cleanses the face. I just bought this a week ago since i ran out of my Burt's Bees facial cleanser and everywhere i go, i just couldn't find it, and so i ended up getting this. I was a little bit apprehensive when i bought this, cos i always get break outs every time i change cleansers! But to my surprise, i didn't! Yay! The only downfall is that it smells like Flixotide, a nasal spray that I use for my hay fever! Ick. But overall, I like how it suits my face, its creamy and removes make up pretty well.

3. Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Extra Gentle Eye Make - Up Remover - Gently removes make -up & mascara. Since i am using a waterproof mascara, most of the time it is very hard to get it off with normal water. Two thumbs up for this!

4. Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil - I use this on my zits which comes and goes every once in a while. It really works! I swear my life on it!

ON MY FACE, EYES & LIPS:

1. Mac Blush in Fleur Power - Extremely gorgeous coral pink blush.

2. Mac Blush in Sincere -  I use this for contouring or for all over the face

3. Revlon Age Defying Concealer in Medium - Has a very good coverage and blends pretty well. It lightens up the area under my eye.

4. Mac Brow Set in Beguile - My all time favourite. It makes filling in the eyebrow easy as 1,2,3. Every girl must have!

5. Maybelline The Falsies Volum Express Waterproof - A lot of people are raving about them online. I gave it a try & I'm not disappointed. It makes me look like i have falsies on! Enough said.

6. Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in 015 Born With It - This is lipstick is awesome. Very close to my natural lip colour with a pink undertone. I am in love with it!

7. Revlon Lip Butter in 095 Creme Brûlée - Perfect everyday nude colour - I like it because when i have it on, i don't look dead!

8. Rimmel Colour Rush Quad Eyeshadow in 016 Urban Flower - A wearable palette. The pigmentation isn't the best but its good enough. I got it for $5, what do you expect?

9. Napoleon Eyeshadow Brush

10. Bloom Blending Blush

11. Real Techniques Crease Brush, Contour Brush & Blush Brush

14. Gloss Professional Kabuki Brush - used for blending or buffing out my blush and bronzer.

PROJECT 10 PAN

I have come to a realisation that I  buy & have too much make up, adding up every week and not able to use them all. Why do you need so much for one face? And so i want to join this project, PROJECT 10 PAN, in which you use your top 10 favourite make up until it hits the pan or finish it.
Not only will this decrease the amount of make up i buy, but most importantly saves me tons of money! (since make up here is way too pricey)

What i'm hoping to finish:

1.    Nars Bronzer in Laguna
2.    Nars Blush in Orgasm
3.    Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in 015 Born With It
4.    Mac Brow Set in Beguile
5.    Maybelline Falsies Volum Express Mascara
6.    Revlon Age Defying Concealer in Medium
7.    Smashbox Shimmer in Soft Lights
8.    Mac Eyeshadow in Bronze
9.    Mac Eyeshadow in Honey Lust
10.  Mac Eyeshadow in Yoghurt

I cannot wait for them to hit the pan, so i would be able to try other products, or maybe, repurchase them f i really like them. :) This should put an end on my make up addiction - at least for a while!

Wish me luck, everyone!
